About these tools
PDF tools for signing, sending and tidying documents: sign and watermark, merge and split, rotate and reorder pages, add page numbers, compress for email, extract the text, convert pages to images and back, and strip the author name and other metadata.
Unlike most PDF sites, nothing is uploaded: your documents are processed in your browser using the open-source pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries, so contracts, payslips and IDs never leave your device.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The files are read and rewritten by your browser. The PDF libraries are downloaded when the page opens, before you choose a file, and your document is never part of that request.
Can these tools open password-protected PDFs?
Not encrypted ones. Remove the password in the app that created the file, or with your own password in a PDF reader, then use the tool.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed limit. Very large files depend on your device’s memory; most documents up to a few hundred pages process in seconds.
