About these tools
Utilities for everyday development work: format and validate JSON, convert between JSON, YAML and CSV, decode JWTs, explain cron schedules and test regular expressions, convert Unix timestamps, encode and decode Base64 and URLs, and generate hashes and UUIDs.
Everything runs client-side. Tokens, payloads and config files never leave your machine, so these are safe to use with real data, which is the point of using them instead of a random paste site.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste a production JWT or API response here?
Our tools don’t transmit what you paste: decoding and verification happen in your browser. Still, treat live tokens as secrets and prefer expired or test tokens where you can.
Which regex flavor does the regex tester use?
JavaScript’s, as built into your browser. Most syntax is shared with other languages, but lookbehind, named groups and flags can differ slightly in PCRE, Python or Java.
Do these work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded. The YAML converter loads its parsing library with the page, before you paste anything.
