About this tool
Most online PDF mergers upload your documents to a server, which is a problem for contracts, medical records, ID scans and anything confidential. This tool uses the open-source pdf-lib library to merge documents entirely inside your browser: your files never leave your computer, and there's no file size cap other than your device's memory.
Bookmarks and form fields from the source files are not carried over; page content, images and text are preserved exactly.

Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
No fixed limit. Merging hundreds of pages takes a few seconds on a typical laptop.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not while they're encrypted. Remove the password first (open in a viewer and "print to PDF" or use the owner password) and then merge.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the merge still works.
Can I merge only some pages from each file?
Use the Split PDF tool first to extract the pages you need, then merge those.
