About this tool
Most invoice tools want an account, store your client list on their servers, and stamp a watermark on the free tier. This one builds the PDF inside your browser with an open-source library, so your business and client information is never sent anywhere. The draft is kept in your browser’s local storage only, on this device.
The invoice includes everything a client’s accounts department expects: your details, theirs, a unique invoice number, issue and due dates, itemised lines with quantities and rates, subtotal, discount, tax and total, plus a notes area for payment instructions such as bank details or accepted methods.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free? Is there a watermark?
Yes and no β completely free, no watermark, no sign-up. A small “generated with” line appears in the footer; that’s all.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser (local storage on this device) so your last draft reappears when you return. Nothing is sent to our server. Click Clear to erase it.
What should an invoice include?
Your name/business and contact details, the client’s, a unique invoice number, the date, payment due date, a description of each item with quantity and price, any tax, the total, and how to pay. Some countries also require a tax/VAT registration number β add it to your address block.
Can I add my logo?
Not in this version β it keeps the tool simple and fast. The PDF uses a clean text layout that prints well in colour or black and white.
Which currencies are supported?
USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, NZD, INR and ZAR are built in. Amounts are formatted with the currency symbol in the PDF.
